As school district leaders proceed to fret about students’ school and profession readiness, a brand new survey finds that much less than half of students from historically underserved populations believe education after excessive school is necessary.
The new survey conducted by ECMC Group, in partnership with VICE Media Group, surveyed extra than 1,000 excessive school students ages 14-18 from low-income, first-generation and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and folks of shade) backgrounds and located that solely 45 % believe education after excessive school is necessary, in comparison with 52 percent of all high schoolers.
